# 1. Request access

The CLI ships to teams onboarded to Adaptive. Reach out to your Adaptive account team — or request a demo — and we'll send signed binaries for macOS, Linux, and Windows along with install instructions for your workspace.

# 2. Authenticate

The CLI authenticates against your organization's SSO provider — Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, OneLogin, or LDAP — so every action runs under your identity.

# 3. Run an agent

Point the CLI at a task or a registered agent. Adaptive brokers access to the database, cluster, or cloud account the agent needs, applies policy, routes approvals, and records the session.
